Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp is a great way for your children to stay active in the summer months with organized activities. This summer the Brooklyn Recreation Department and Brooklyn City Schools have partnered to offer a camp that will promote a full day of student enrichment, education and healthy active lifestyles.

Participant Age: Ages 5-12 (Must be entering Kindergarten for 2023-2024 school year)
Location: Brooklyn Recreation Center and Brooklyn City Schools
Times: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Before Care: 7:00am ($5 Daily Fee)
After Care: 5:00pm ($5 Daily Fee)
Session: Monday through Friday (One Field Trip Weekly)

Enrichment: First portion of the day will be an education and enrichment session. Each camper will have this session to complete enrichment and educational activities assigned by camp directors and educators. These sessions will be held at Brooklyn City Schools and will be run by camp teachers and staff.

Activity: Second portion of the day will include sports, gym games, crafts, nature walks, swimming, ice skating and other activities planned by the camp staff.

IF YOU ARE SELECTED FOR A BCSD SCHOLARSHIP, THE AMOUNT AWARDED WILL BE APPLIED TO YOUR WEEKLY BALANCE DURING THE SUMMER
